Barrera, Morales, Marquez, Pacquaio. The best fighter?

And just becuase fighters B loses to A doesn't mean fighter B is better either.

Fighter A beating B in his prime is a very good indication that A is indeed better, otherwise how else are you fgoing to decide? By your biasness?

 

Barrera in my opinion.. it can be flipped around quite easily though..

 

Just to prove further my point, toss in Guzman in the list and see how he gets ranked at #1 by many...

 

I disagee with that, before Marquez fought Pac I thought he might well be the best of the lot. The one with the least exposure, but the best. I think many hardcore boxing fans knew he was badly underrated.
He beat Barrera and in my view had a clear UD over Pacman.

 

Had he taken the exact path that Barrera did, who knows. The wear and tear would have caught to him at some point, making him look less stellar and vulnerable in many of the fights.

 

In terms of talent, Id go with Marquez, this guy is a tremendous fighter, but in terms of recognition, and achievement, he's possibly 4th of 4.

And Prime for Prime.
Barrera was a nightmare for Morales, but generally, I thought Morales to be the better fighter.

Pac would have always been a horrible fight for Barrera, but think Morales, at his peak, would have beaten Pac.

you don't need to become the best boxer to beat great boxers such as those on the list. even though PAC has lacking on his boxing skill he has the speed and power to take those department... manny has the ton of heart that give us the inspiration, that whatever obstacle in our path we can overcome those by giving our faith, best and hardwork. you dont have to be the best to do something special in any department in life...

How the hell is Pac winning this poll.

He obviously is not a better "all round" fighter than Barrera, Morales or Marquez. He is distinctly one dimesional, a great dimesion but it is still only one.

I think Morales is the best in ring fighter though.

 

I'd say that JMM is the best technical fighter but MAB has the very good technique and can also BANG when he needs too...it's a toss up between MAB and JMM....but the best FIGHTER overall is PAC.

 

I say best "ALL AROUND FIGHTER" not b/c he is TECHNICALLY sound or highly skilled "BOXER"....those are areas that JMM, EM and MAB have...they are truly students and now teachers of the sport....PAC on the other hand has decent skills...but it's those "X" factors that PAC has that give him the advantages that most other boxers just don't have....they are god given gifts of talent and natrual abilities.

PAC is the best overall fighter only b/c he WINS! and does it impressivly against the very best in his divisions. His speed, power, reflexes are all god given talents and attributes that one can't learn or train to have....you can harnest your talents, keep them sharp and polish them but you either have them or you don't. Pac has plenty and it's evident when he fights. If pac didn't have these talents and abilities he'd be NOWHERE on the Boxing radar...he's still be fighting for peanuts in Manila. But of course this is not the case and we all have been blessed to see one of the GREATS of our era in the ring.

He doens't have the techical tools that the three great Mexican warriors have but at the same time they don't have the natrual talents and abilities that PAC seems to have in adundance.
