    Christ on a bicycle!

For one I think you have the top 3 victories wrong.

    I'd have it:

    Pac - cotto, jmm2, mab1

    Joe - hopkins, kessler, lacy.

Pac has beaten "the man" in 4 divisions and is damn close to becoming "the man" in a fifth. He also defended his flyweight and featherweight belts. - joe finally picked up his lineal championship in the final fight of his weight class vs kessler and never defended it. He then beat "the man" at lhw and defended it once.

Pac reached p4p#1 joe never did.

Pac has defeated more top ten p4p guys.

Pac has fought a high level of competition between flyweight and welterweight. A span of over 30 pounds. Joe fought between smw and lhw a span less than 10 pounds.

joe's benefits are that he beat everyone he faced and established himself as the greatest ever in a weight class which is something that pac has never done.

Well you have put forward a fantastic arguement, and nobody on here has given a sensible counter arguement. You find that happens. When they cant debate facts they insult because they cant counter.

Great facts and consider how many world title fights those fighters you mentioned for Calzaghe have won.
All in the high double figures

ok i see. so you are probably a roy jones or a bhop fan trying to give calzaghe some **** by comparing him to pacman. i knew it would be wise for the people not to bite your thread. nice try though! :good

edit: i see i'm a little too late. some had already answered your bait thread.

Pac hasnt beaten anybody as great Roy ever, the only reason Calzaghe was never ranked #1 p4p is because of American bias. Calzaghe is undefeated and was ducked for years. Just imagine who else he would have in his resume

Charles Brewer,Mikkell Kessler were better victories than the Jones that Calzaghe beat... And neither of those guys shouldnt even be mentioned in the same sentence as Barrera,Morales,Marquez... Even Chris Eubank was on his way out..

I give Joe credit for the Hopkins win... I had Joe winning by 1 point, but i think Hopkins gave it away more than anything, feel he could have done better., sign of an aging fighter, obviously Hopkins is still an elite fighter. But style wise Calzaghe is too active for an old fighter.

    Calzaghes best wins were
    Hopkins
    Kessler
    Brewer
    Mitchell
    Bika
    Reid (controversial)
    Lacy
    And a past it Eubank
    Woodhall

Good resume,, but far from that of an atg.

THe rest of his title defenses were against bottom of the barrell contenders .. Either nobodies/clubfighters with good connections or guys like Sheika,Manfredo who are recognizeable names, but more like gatekeepers... His title defenses and undefeated record are so fluffed up.

no doubt bhop is a good win for joe. but the closeness of the fight is not as impressive as pac's win over barrera, even if MAB was a lower ranked ATG than bhop, who was a very big favorite over an unknown pac that time. calzaghe was actually the favorite coming in and would probabaly rate that win on pac with pac's win against marquez. both bhop and jmm had done great things after they were beaten by joe and pac.

Who did pac beat other than washed up bums coming off losses, Jones had two solid wins before Calzaghe
