Froch wins on a competitive but convincing UD. Johnson is a great fighter but he's a gatekeeper for fighters like Froch. Johnson is stepping down a weight, is easy to hit and fights the same way all the time. How anybody can think this is going any other way but a competitive, predictable Froch decision is beyond me. :rasta

Styles and Attributes make fights and that will be proven here when glen johnson's style, inside fighting, and ability to cut the ring off will be giving froch hell from the opening bell. This is the worst man I can think of around the weight division for froch to fight stylistically, because of Froch's need for space and habit of leaving his face in the same spot when he throws a punch (which glen doesn't). Glen will be inside froch's long arms, dodging those easy to see shots and teeing off upstairs and downstairs off of ducks and bobs. Froch's already slow legs will almost come to a stop and then it will turn ugly.

Mark it down and see me the next day.

Just a note on G Johnsons SMW career -
In 12 SMW fights Johnson has lost 6 of them.
Johnson has lost at SMW to -

M Sosa who had 5 losses and 2 draws, and lost his next 2 fights after beating Johnson
Kiwanuka who had 3 losses and 2 draws, had lost his last 2 fights coming into his fight with Johnson and his fight after Johnson
Ottke 16-0 who in fairness was an outstanding SMW boxer
Vanderpool 27-1 who lost his next fight, but in fairness that was at MW to Hopkins and Vanderpool had a good run after
Branco 38-4-2 who was a world class SMW and became WBA LHW champ
Sheika who was 19-1 and lost his next fight, though in fairness that was to Calzaghe.

The SMWs that Johnson has managed to beat
Campas 3-20-4 coming off of only 2 losses and won his next fight
Watson 24-16-1, Johnson was his last fight
Renteria 9-23-5 coming in, whos last 10 fight record before facing Johnson was 0-8-2
Zimmerman 15-2-0 coming in, who had lost his previous fight and the one after
A Green 29-2-0 coming in and Johnsons biggest SMW victory

Its not impressive now is it. Please spare me the robbery talk.
If any rated SMW losses to Johnson it wont look good on their resume

To think beating Green was all Johnson had to do to become a Ring rated SMW in todays ratings

No I dont think Glen will KO Froch, but wouldbt be shocked if Froch KOd Glen

LOL bailey I understand his road. I can care less about ratings either. I just pit fighter against fighter and see what they do. By looking at what these two guys do in the ring, It leads me to think Johnson is going to put a bad one on Froch. Their names mights as well be fighter a vs fighter b. It's what they do and thier attributes that matter and any one calculation can make me wrong as well as other variables such as speed and choice of gameplan by each fighter. This fight doesn't carry as many variables because you know exactly what Glen Johnson is going to do, because he always get's into a guys chest regardless of the skill level of opponent. Froch cannot fight on the inside nor do I see him having anything to keep Glen from getting there.

I actually agree with you here  I think Froch will stop Glen on his feet. Froch only loses this if he isn't in shape or has stamina issues and that never happens with Froch. He is a perfectionist when it comes to those aspects of his training.

I see something in both of thier styles and attributes. Something you refuse to talk about LOL. I can think of reason's for why you do not atleast attempt to talk strategy and none are good.

So please look at what I've been saying to see why I think Glen will beat him. You must be on some level that only the result registers in your head and you completely miss WHY things happen. Styles, attributes and gameplan's are why things happen. That boxrec mess you post has nothing to do with why someone will beat thier next opponent.

Jesus the lack of respect for Froch and his ability is still about on these forums? The guy has an amazing amateur pedegree and has more than proved himself as a top SMW...Gonna be a fantastic fight this one and love both fighers. But only one winner.Froch has more than enough will to match Johnsons, age on his side, height, reach and power (which none of you seem to rate, but it had Abraham thinking twice plenty) You can say waht you want about Johnson coming onto the inside, fine...he's gonna go through ****ing hell to get there and find Froch more than capable of standing toe to toe...go check Froch vs Pascal for evidence of that. Froch took huge Pascal shots all night.

Got the feeling Froch will win in a tough fight. Johnson is in great shape and he is taking this fight very seriously:
    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RUm8y0VuqoQ[/ame]
He is a true warrior with skills and determination however he will meet a younger warrior with skills and more power in Froch. Froch jab in his last fight made me a believer. He was able to stick to his game plan by using a power jab all night long. No way Johnson KO Froch IMO. If he does I'll give u all the props in the world..anyway Johnson got my utmost respect a while back already.
