How Hard did Max Bear Punch?

    Very astute.

    But I have wondered if maybe he was hindered by hidden medical problems. He did die at age 50 IIRC of a heart attack. So maybe he just couldn't have more stamina because of underlying CV problems.

    OTOH maybe he did it all to himself by partying too hard? If so, at least he had lots of fun!!

    "Mad Max" Baer was a wicked banger, but not very schooled or technical in his delivery.... Baer threw bombs like a rookie or street fighter looking to hit paydirt with volley of crazy, hard punches... Baer was king of telegraphing his opponent that bombs were coming....
