Jean Pascal vs. Tavoris Cloud talks under way?

This fight would be entertaining as hell. I hope it happens. I'd go with Cloud. Pascal is living in a world of hurt and doubt right now.

 

I don't think so, it's not like he got schooled like Pavlik. They where both close fights that he just came up just short because of stamina. He needs to learn how to better control his emotions and breathing

Pascal wins a comfortable decision.

 

Pascal is faster but Cloud has good hand speed too and better stamina. It's a toss up for me, rght now.

 

History doesn't show what you say.

 

Cloud impressed me with his performance against Johnson. He's fundamentally sound, has decent handspeed, good power and most importantly an excellent workrate. We know Pascal has stamina issues and Cloud threw 990 punches in his last fight. While Cloud is susceptible to the jab we all know that's not Pascals forte.

Pascal best chances is to catch Cloud with something big early as he comes in and he will definitely competitive in the first half of the fight. But he will inevitably fade like he has done in fights with Hopkins and Froch, which is even more likely with Cloud's body punching.

I see Pascal doing well early but fading in the second half of the fight. He's durable enough to survive the distance but will lose on a UD.

 

Cloud has a better work rate but like Pascal he fights in flurries.

Cloud tend to stay in place when he gets hit, imo this is a very bad thing against Pascal.

Pascal is going to win this because of that, Pascal's defensive against Cloud's devensive is the key.

Unless Cloud learn to roll with punches and roll with storm. Pascal is going to win this 8-4 or 7-5.

Cloud will have his moment though. He hits very hard, unfortunatly for him, Pascal's chin is solid rock.

Great fight. Pascal needs to improve his conditioning though, he can win 9 straight rounds and still get knocked out, but with enough energy to withstand Cloud's pressure he should comfortably win.

 

cloud is the better fighter. hope a just decision is found regardless of who wins. that may be too much to ask for

 

Pascal win the first 4 or 5 and his cardio let him down and Cloud walk through him...
