What makes you say that in other sports they are doing more in doping control?

Were Barca´s players tested after they won the Champions Cup? Were Nadal tested after his last win?

......In his first fight at 147 lbs, he walks into the ring looking physically great at 165 lbs, and we're supposed to turn the other way and not be remotely suspicious of anything?


Now Berto is insinuating that Ortiz may have cheated.

......and like the thread starter said, the possibility exists that more and more fighters will start to make such insinuative claims after they lose fights, like Berto did.

Its an unfortunate situation because fighters health is involved with these PED freaks being allowed to climb rings to do their damage.


If there was a sport to step in and put a halt to athletes trying to physically get better through artificial means, it would be combat sports.

Who cares about testing after a fight?

It has been said REPEATEDLY that TRAINING under the influence of steroids is the issue and that they are EASILY cycled out of the system by fight time. The time for random testing is through the year and even more stringent testing is in camps. That is where guys are getting the gains from.

So can someone please tell me why morons keep fronting as though a post fight test matters? Ugh. Makes you wonder how dumb the average Boxing fan is.

 

Yup, it happened in baseball when Jose Consaco came out and accused several baseball players of using steroids and everyone in the media and fans told him to go to hell. As it turned out he was right in every accusation he made.

I would like to know what the MLB testing procedures are like compared to boxing. Are they comparable? I know MLB has taking lots of steps in ensuring it rids MLB of PEDs.

We have to keep in mind that these boxing boards have become infestated with *******s, so as long as Pacroid is still going strong, the *******, which means a great many of members in boxing boards like these, will be against better PED testing methods.
