The thing with Hopkins-Taylor...Hopkins had clearly been weakening at 160 lb and still there is no doubt Hopkins is the better fighter than Taylor. Taylor became overrated off his "wins" over Hopkins. But how is it that Hopkins was able to move up in weight and beat better fighters in Tarver and Winky. His punch stats were considerably better as he moved up in weight as well.

Kessler is now being overrated by his "good" showing against Calzaghe when in actual fact it was not a close fight. Kessler is robotic, one dimensional and yes he's not in Hopkins' league. And lol at Kessler boxing rings around Hopkins, because he's an Ali type fighter right? lol. All I can say is bring on Calzaghe/Hopkins, because I think the old man will surprise a lot of people.

Some people just lives in the past! Hopkins is NOT the fighter he once was.
The present Hopkins is the most overrated fighter by americans in here!

Calzaghe and Kessler would make easy work of the current version of Hopkins! Both wide UD!

Age is a big factor now, as is hops stamina down the stretch, id pick Kessler to beat him now. Few years back Hopkins would just be too smart for kessler, who isnt a box of tricks, he is v straight forward!

Kessler simply due to activity. B-hop was never and is not a volume punch fighter. he's acurate, uses a good jab and gives great angels. kessler is a very busy puncher who uses the jab, gives angles, but is not quite the defensive fighter B-hop is. That being said, i don't see kessler needing to use much defense against b-hop who would look to slip and punch rather than outpunch Kessler. That activity by Kessler would win over the judges and the fans and the fight.
