its too bad MORE boxers didnt run like manny. we wouldnt be seeing fighters, whom we pay good money to watch, gas out in the 3rd round. i think its awesome that this man has such dedication to his profession. i bet youll never see manny with his mouth wide open in the 2nd round gasping for air. people who dont believe he trains as hard as he does have probably never exercised in their lives. whereas manny gets runners high (i believe the same receptor sights open for endorphins that open for morphine and opiates), lazy people on here are probably addicted to facebook, text messaging, myspace, etc.

to all you able bodied people who are in disbelief that an elite level world athlete actually trains, why dont you take advantage of what yopu have the ability to do and not take your health and life for granted and get out there and exercise for God's sake! I wish i could train like i used to, and you slothlike lazy **** heads just sit and say its impossible that there is someone out there not as lazy as your sorry ass

i'm a regular person and i can run this course in 1.5 hours. pacquiao can do this in much less maybe 70 minutes. he workouts for about 4 hours a day so he might have at least a total of 5 hours + including the roadwork. world class runners do differ on how much mileage they train and you would be surprised how much a world class 12 round boxers have to run everyday. i think calzaghe himself runs around 10kms a day.

probably there is a rest. this is a commercial ad and it's not really improtatnt to say that you take day-offs in training. in case of pac, he probabaly does a day off. and to give you a peace of mind i don't think that he does 10 miles a day either. he might be doing it 3 or 4 times and some runs he is doing some speed work or intervals or he could be mixing it up with those 10 mile runs. but it is not really impossible for someone like pacquiao to do these types of workout afterall this is all he does for a living and he is really that work intensive.

dont forget that hes doing 2000 or 4000 sit ups a day too (ive heard 2 different versions) and according to the times that people are putting out there he is not running 10 miles a day at a warm up pace he is running it at elite level competition time... day in and day out

which is probably why he is considered by many to be the P4P #1 in the world...and we are not.

I believe Pac runs 10 miles, and would probably even run 20.

To avoid a good random blood test.

15 mins of continuous jogging feels like eternity to me. I swear I could drink an ocean right after.

Its standard for the muay thai fighters in thailand run 10km in the morning and then 3km after lunch, 6 days a week all year round. (they are like old school boxers, fight very regularly) This is addition to all the other stuff they do like bag work, mitts, conditioning and sparring.

Trust me, 10 miles a day is not that special.

i'm sure he can do it, but i would assume the wear and tear on ones joints would be worse than the benefits of the run....i'm sure a rest day here and there would keep his knees happy, but hey, if it's working for him, no reason to change
