Not the best fight, but not the worst. As said by others Kats derserves a bit of a step back. I doubt it is thet start of a downward slide
Mate, take into account that his first fight in front of his home crowd in a long time that he wont want to lose either, in fact his team would want him to win spectacularly in front of the average punter.
he's gonna be belting up a pom, some of the people on here are carrying on like he was gonna bash a real person.
Katsidis is no publicity ***** so i doubt he's going down the WWF soap opera route a la Mundine & Green. If he fancies a softer fight with his fans behind him then I don't begrudge it. That said - a soft fight for a proven warrior is one thing but it needs to be on a competitive card. Boxing in this country doesn't need yet another fight night that is **** from start to finish. Earl will cost **** all so how about bringing in a couple of (Mexican??) imports for the other fights?? If Mick is taking it easy, get the warrior spirit elsewhere. Jesus, anything to avoid padding up of the promoter's fighters records. Katsidis has a larger profile overseas than he does here so the last thing we need is the world watching another joke like Vic's night at the Parramatta Leagues Club, or whatever pub function room it was.
