God this fight pissed me off. I felt like throwing the tv out the window because you knew Zbik wasn't going to get credit for far oulanding Bumez. It's embarrassing that hypejobs and phonies like him and Canelo have title belts. Zbik can't punch and probably was told not to throw body shots. I hope if not Martinez, Cotto gets him next...I know HE WILL throw body shots and Bumez Jr. Is going to wish it was another fixed soft touch.

There's no way he handles Cotto's jab, footwork, or gets the better of him in inside exchange. The only thing he has on him is size, which he can't use to full effect.

The only good body punch Zbik threw, Chávez felt it deep inside.

I don't think Chavez Jr./Cotto will happen either and much less at MW. Did you see what Chavez Jr. was weighing tonight? He is too damn heavy and might have problems even making MW in the next year or two.

Martinez will make Chavez Jr his ***** so don't expect this fight either. Arum will more than likely just feed him a bum for his next "title" defense. Oh God, I don't know who was Zbik fighting before Chavez cause he sure doesn't have alot to show to be undefeated. They should do a mini tournament of all these undefeated "propects" or contenders and start seeing what they are really made of.

i agree but arum is never giving martinez chavez jr, really not going to happen, cotto will be next at a catchweight i think cotto wins it but I can see him losing, the fight vs chavez will take a lot out of miguel cause chavez keeps coming

I think Jr beats Cotto. Jr is not ready for Serg imo. If Jr fights Serg, I'm riding with Jr.

he is there all night for the counter-right and uppercut. both chavez and canelo are not long for this sport.

kudos to freddy roach. he knew that chavez had no chance form the outside so he tells everyone including zbik that chavez is gong to use his reach and speed to outbox zbik.

    and what does he do?

he fights it in a phone booth and goes to the body all night for which zbik did not prepare.

if they fight again, zbik probably wins as the speed difference was flagrant.

i have a newfound appreciation for roach.

    savvy muther****er.

The size of Chavez is what I think would win that fight. Cotto is moving up one too many weight classes and is a bit on the downside of his career. Cotto is the better fighter and head to head at their better weights Cotto would probably stop Chavez in 4 or 5 rounds, but if Chavez has a good gameplan with his jab he could swell up Cotto and maybe get a TKO. My point was that Cotto is winnable, but Martinez is not for Chavez.

Arum has always been a dirty guy. The way he insulted Michael Nunn after he beat Barkley by saying Duran would destroy him was terrible. I never forgot that. As for Cotto, stylewise it is winnable for Chavez since Miguel likes to trade and he is moving up to 160, when even at 147 he was a small welt. Miguel would have a chance to be a 4 division champion. They are giving him some great chances to have a great legacy. Martinez would destroy Chavez Jr.

I gotta agree with this, Chavez is huge at Middleweight, and Cotto would be a dwarf there
