has to be as far away from wards hometown as possible froch has had 3 of his 4 fights away from home ward has had 3 fights at home and none away , the abraham or kessler fight should have be in europe New York has to be the venue as at least this is the other side of the usa from where ward lives ps: how much is both fighters purse for the final????...should be around $2m each i think
I think I read somewhere that the finals will be in Vegas. This was determined before the tourney started. I may be mistaken.
I wouldnt mind seeing it in Wards backyard......... now that its over Froch can look at taking Ward & Kessler back to back.
the super 6 has unfairly been stacked in wards favor in regards to matches at home all fighters should have had to fight away at least once
Like I mentioned. Stage it Montreal. Canada is a neutral country, and not in USA or UK. It would be a nice prelude to hopefully staging a unification match of the WBA/WBC/IBF SMW Titles between the winner of Ward-Froch vs. Lucian Bute to determine the Undisputed SMW Champion.
By Showtime contract, it has to be in the US. My guess is L.A., not Ward's hometown, but close enough. Second guess, Vegas.
should be in a place where ward has to deal with jet lag for a change oh but that wont happen will it.
Ward needs to get his ass on one of those things called an aeroplane and leave the North American continent. The fightcamp 360 programs have shown, along with numerous articles, the stress on the faces of Dirrell, Froch, Kessler, Abraham and Taylor from travelling. At the same time Ward has been walking around totally relaxed in his own backyard. To my mind there can be no doubt that Ward, in all fairness, should have to deal with travelling and unusual conditions. All the other fighters had to deal with this! Why not Ward? For the credibility of the super six the final needs to be on neutral ground. How about Moscow or Berlin?
If it's at Staples, i'm going. But i think Vegas is fair as everyone can agree that it's about as "neutral" as it gets when it comes to big fights.
