The real final at 168 is yet to be determined.
There is 1 other men who actually holds a win on the S6 finalist Carl Froch , I'm talking about the Viking Warrior , Mikkel Kessler. And there is one more , a champion of the division who is considered one of the top fighters at Supper Middleweight and who hasn't been give the chance to prove it , Lucian Bute.

Froch v Ward is in fact a semifinal and another 1 is Bute vs Kessler. The real final at 168 will be against the winners of these 2 bouts

So what bute gets the easy route with much less punishment? End of the day the guys who took part in the tournie deserve all the props.. Bute looks good but surely for an equal playing field he needed to be in the super 6 or at least be as active against tough opposition.

So no it's not the final for me.. Just another world title fight if it happens

No, it's THE final. Great fight to determine the best at 168. Kessler-Bute would be to determine the number one challenger. and like the previous poster said, bute has done ****, while froch and the rest of the super six fighters have had tough runs through the tournament. he can't just sneak in there and steal their glory, which he hasn't earned

Kessler quit the tournament after a controversial win over Froch. Bute hasn't beaten anyone his best win is arguably Andrade.

Ward and Froch are the best 168ers in the world right now and the final should be an interesting clash of styles.

That being said throw Bute, Kessler, and Dirrell into the mix and the 168 division looks really strong.

I think Ward will outbox Froch(i hope im wrong) and if Kessler has anything left he will outwork Bute provided he doesn't catch one of those wicked uppercuts

  7. **** bute hes a bum anyway and kessler dropped out so it is , ward v froch

Froch's fought with blood sweat and tears to get into that final what has Bute done?

    Froch:
    Pascal
    Dirrell
    Kessler
    Abraham
    Johnson

    Bute:
    Andrade?
    Magee?
    Miranda?

Who cares... If we get to see winner of Super 6 vs Kessler/Bute GREAT. BUT the winner of S6 will be the undisputed SMW champion regardless of championships, Froch and Ward have had to fight the most amount of contenders in and around them to get there and deserve the recognition of being the best. It's up to Bute or Kessler to disprove that against the winner, (I know Kessler holds a close win over Froch so a rematch would go someway to proving, but if that were to happen then Froch would hold a win over Ward who beat Kessler) Super Middleweight is a HOT division and will continue to be so for a while yet.

It's the final of this tournament but doesn't decide who's the no.1 in the division.
Bute should have been in the S6 instead of Abraham/Taylor/Johnson.
