How long would it take (to train at boxing) and be able to defend yourself?

The funniest thing about this is the 6 other places I copy & pasted this exact question never once brought up "acting too gay" and all gave me legitimate answers.

    Now THAT is hilarious!

But you wanna know the difference between you and the homophobic thugs? At least they took their homophobia and said it to my face, while keyboard-warriors (like yourself) will take it to my inbox lmfao

You're assuming the beating you gave him taught him some sort of life lesson, I'm offering some alternatives. You didn't even acknowledge the second part of that paragraph.

    Quoted here, for your consideration:
"Or maybe he'll just learn his lesson, until the next guy you see has a problem with the gays, and you'll have to teach him a lesson as well, and the next guy, and the next guy, until you've beat the **** out of everyone that has a problem with homosexuality and the world can finally live in harmony."

If you agree with me then why the hell are you getting into several fights in the last few months?

.... I'm comparing your response to fighting a losing battle. Swimming against the current in a rip.

You saw the identifiers, the fight indicators that **** was about to go down (ie, you saw the stop sign ahead, the brake lights, you saw the ebb and flow of the tide)

Instead of removing yourself from the situation (ie, applying the brakes, swimming parallel to the shore) you decided to make the situation worse

You did this with either a lack of response (ie, treading water or cruising at the same speed)

Or worse yet, you escalated the situation further through some warped sense of entitlement (swimming against the current or accelerating toward a line of parked cars).

Given your sequence of responses in this thread, I'm leaning toward the latter.

Learning how to fight is the last of your worries you need to learn some basic self-preservation skills.

You're actually the only one acting like an internet tough guy here. You're trying to call out everyone else's skills and decision making when it comes to a similar situation, all while calling people dumb, idiots and ******ed like a friggen 12 year old.. You get picked on and get your ass kicked in real life so you come here to let out your frustrations. Understandable I guess, but still sad.

So stay at those places. No one likes you or wants you here.

Everyone's staying calm and giving you advice but because you don't agree and don't wanna hear it you're attacking everyone like a little *****.

Of course boxing helps,of course there is the variable of weapons and numbers, but I have seen a lot of fights ending with only fists, there are even a lot on the internet,I am a mma fan but that 90% of the fights end up on the ground is bull****,it was made to sell bjj,how does one would even go about taking these statistics, never saw a nut shot, people want to ko their oponents and they tend to think they can punch for some reason.

what boxing really helps is your self steem, you know what you are capable of,you will avoid conflict if you have a good head on your shoulders, people who do that stuff have low self steem.

Can you just **** off and get into a fight again, maybe end up in hospital, prison or dead, you'd be doing the world a favor. No wonder people dislike you if you act like this. You're an arrogant, cocky, immature, ignorant ***** and you deserve everything you get.

I think there’s the problem with society right there......... people don’t want for others what they want for themselves.

If you don’t wanna fight then don’t tell others to fight.

If you tell others to fight then say you wanna fight.

    Art of negative.

****ing LOL at anybody telling him he should have left the restaurant after a man slapped his food on the floor

    do you's have no shame?

it's better to swing it out and get battered then let a man violate you like that and do nothing, at least you could look yourself in the mirror afterwards

    /

i've had people start confrontations with me for no reason, it happens.

Have you thought that maybe this "thug" didn't start on you cause you're gay, but because you're a loud/arrogant pos?

Did you read what people actually said? He should'nt have let it get to the point of the guy coming over, he should have left or spoke to the workers to have the guy removed. Sitting there waiting for a fight is just immature and ****ing dumb.

Swing it out and get battered? What if he stamps on your head 10 times when you're on the floor? Yeah, I'd be very proud of myself lying in hospital with brain damage, so very proud. At least I didn't just walk away though, ah? That's a sign of a real tough guy.

Some guys on this forum need to grow up a bit.

You really need to go back and read through this thread again instead of making this stuff up as you go along. Or maybe you can quote where I claimed to carry a knife at all times...

I think it was either right before or after you claimed to have shot 12 people in your life. I can't seem to find that quote either though.
