Turley after just three weeks notice gave him the fight of his life....If Turley had more time to prepare he would have destroyed Famton and done more damage to his ptofile than he did. Frampton was gonna blow him away on his Sjy live debut ...it didn,t happen. Fair play to Carl he won but was no way the win he wanted and no way was it what everyone predicted. Turley will come back again and win Titles.

not hard enough to taje Turley out. Turley after just three weeks notice gave him the fight of his life....If Turley had more time to prepare he would have destroyed Famton and done more damage to his profile than he did. Frampton was gonna blow him away on his Sjy live debut ...it didn,t happen. Fair play to Carl he won but was no way the win he wanted and no way was it what everyone predicted. Turley will come back again and win Titles. H had two weeks training for this fight....watch this space. and wise up before you underestimate anyone braver than yourself....dickhead

Its kind of strange really. I saw a prospect in with his toughest opponent, win the fight and barely drop a round. Why do ppl expect a spectacular performance everytime? It does look like turley was seriously underestimated, but some people are acting like frampton has been completely exposed and his career might as well be over. After all, boxers are only as good as their last performance and cant improve or learn from their fights can they?

Robbie Turley certainly has been underestimated by large, and Frampton deserves credit here because Robbie's not the push over most seem to think he is. You have to perform well to beat Turley when he's up for it.

I know Robbie quite well, having had my boxers spar with him, and I can tell you his fitness and conditioning is incredible, he's also as tough as they come and can be awkward to deal with.
(To give you an idea how much of a tough fighter he his, he had chicken pox over the Christmas period - which I'm sure you know can be extremely draining -yet just over a week or so later, he was sparring 10 hard rounds in the morning and did 6 or 8 in the evening - and barely flagged and boxed with tons of enthusiasm).

So don't underestimate Turley, and to get a win over him clearly and concise at this stage of Frampton's career is very good going.
Watching from ringside Saturday night, I thought Frampton took virtually every round (though it seems there are many who disagree), and when he boxed steadily and focused, he was catching Rob persistently with some very hard, quality punches. I think Frampton looked good against a tough, tough and awkward opponent.
Nobody at this stage of their career looks a million dollars against Turley, but Frampton didn't do too badly at all, in my opinion.

He looked top class against fighters who were never going to trouble him. He is a good prospect but people are going way over the top

who is our top prospect then??

It was his first live fight on sky agaisnt a very tricky opponent who was very up for it. That was Turleys world title fight.

I wasn't a fantastic performance but was very respectable. my opinion on his potential ability has not changed.

Billy joe saunders, gavin, Quigg. Frampton is Irish so he is not one of OUR prospects. He is clearly talented. I thought it was a solid performance but the way people talk about Carl on here is like he is the best thing since sliced bread.

    Frampton is British & Irish.

Gavin looked poor in his last fight. Saunders yeh looks class but theres question marks about him. Frampton beats Quigg. There common opponent was stopped by frampton in half the time.

And? what does that have to do with him being better? Question marks over saunders, ofcourse there is. Same with Frampton or any prospect.
