Simple Trout is on the up,only a Youngster he is doing what Choc should have done many years ago stepping up to the plate he may fail at Top Class but I can assure you if he does he would not get away with what Mandy has done here in Aus in the States,by that i mean fail against both Kessler and Ottke and create a circus for the rest of his career. And still say he has a snowflakes chance in hell of fighting Trout or anyone with any Class at the moment,he is finished.!!!
Vintage Ashley . Let's have a quick look at the facts: Trout is an at peak, 25 year old, undefeated junior middleweight. He is a southpaw and has fought comfortably at junior middle for 4 years - well enough in fact to hold a world title at that weight. Mundine is a fading 36 year old with a crook hip, bung eye, and who's never fought legitimately at junior middleweight in his life. He has also not fought a southpaw in over 10 years! As for career fights - Mundine's hardest career fights have been Ottke, Siacca, Kessler, Green and Geale. Mundine lost to Ottke, Siacca and Kessler. Barely fell in against a a young, and at the time still improving, Geale - who'd beat him easily now. So in reality you are hanging your hat entirely on Mundine's win over Green for credibility Ash.
Exactly CHB very well put.!!!I see Trout beat Alvarez who defeated Ishida, going OK for a young bloke.!!!
Yeah but if Mundine beats him all of a sudden people will call him a bum Fight will never happen,Trout is to big a fish for Mundine he will fight another bum for sure, look forward to the next Mandy fight to see what Big name he pulls from the bottom of the Barrel.!!!
not sure how i slipped up. I made a point that choc has been good for boxing in Aus. could have been much better but been good all the same and no one wants to talk about it all there interested in is talking like rex hunt and fihing for rainbow trout
Choc's the one who is a no name in the USA. Trout defends his WBA title next weekend [ 11/6/11 ] against David Diaz in Mexico. Should be a good fight and Trout should win it. Mundine doesn't deserve a shot and there's a big chance he won't get one unless Boxa offer some serious money. Mundine beating Tolliver at middleweight is no guide to form. At 154 Trout would be a shoo in.
