The OP is probally right but look at it another way, there is a way way higher chance of froch ending his career now with a win over RJJ on his resume than other way around

First, I'm not sure what the point of this thread is.

But Clinton Woods was a very good fighter and his chin was EXCELLENT.

  6. Prime jones would nail him with hard hooks I'd say a later stoppage though I can't see froch giving up mentally hed keep coming ref would most likely have to stop the fight

Jones sucks. Never beat anyone near as good as Froch. I don't count Popkins 5 months out of the joint.

RJJ tended to let people survive once they stopped trying to seriously win the fight. Froch could make 12, but only with Roy's permission. Just like everybody else.

For those who are upset about it, I'm a Froch fan. No disrespect to Froch at all, he's a high quality champion but Roy is the greatest 168 of all times, and in the running for p4p GOAT period.

You can look at it this way: If you dropped 168 RJJ in the super six and wanted to bet on him to win, you'd have to lay 10 to win 1 in Vegas. At least.

Prime Roy Jones beats everyone at 168.

Damn that was one bad KO. It just goes to remind you how good Frochs chin is after getting repeatedly tagged by Johnsons over hand right, the same one that hit RJJ in this clip.

Also i agree with a few of the posters above, there is no need to bring these kind of debates in the current forum. Just pay respect to boxers like Froch who go out to entertain. No need for hating.

Clinton Woods made his name by losing to great fighters.

Froch is making his name by beating the best fighters out there right now back to back.

    Stop hating.

Roy jones was not the hardest puncher @ 168!! Gman and Benn hit harder. jones would beat Froch by UD tho.

:good this is exactly what happened with jones' fights in his prime. if a guy kept coming after him, they usually got stopped. if they started to back off, jones usually let them lose a decision. good to see someone remembers how good jones once was. i love watching froch fight. he's got a lot of heart. i don't think he'll beat ward but it's hard to root against him.
