Boxing is so CORRUPT now it's ridicules Martinez is going to get screwed

    Now that Julio Chavez Jr has won the middle weight title Martinez should be the number one contender to get his title back but I'm betting it won't happen.because they(the powers that be in boxing) are trying to protect JR. who in my opinion is a half ass fighter. Martinez would knock Chavez Jr. out cold and they know it.Hears how this is going to go down, they will hand pick Chavez's fights with STIFFS and let Martinez sit and wait like 18 months so he can get older then they will give him a fight with Chavez MARK MY WORD!! any one agree

    Nothing to worry about, Martinez could be 65 and knock Chavez Jr out cold.

    I don't see Chavez Jr as a challenge for Martinez and don't see what all the hype is behind this fight. Why doesn't Martinez fight guys like Pirog or Golovkin or move up in weight and fight Bute or Kessler or Dirrell?

    It's like people are encouraging him for cherrypicking a guy that they think lost to Zbik. WTF?

    That's boxing today, it's a joke really. Who wants to see Jr vs Martinez anyway? It's a bit of a mismatch. Canelo vs Jr is the fight which fans should want, they are closer to each other in terms of level of fighter. Everyone knows Martinez is the best at 160, by miles, nothings gonna change that. I'd rather see him fight true contenders like Pirog, and some 168lbers like Bute, Ward/Froch than watch him outmatch Jr and some 154lbers.

    :deal If you want the best fights then you shouldn't be calling for Chavez/Martinez.

    Sergio should fight the top MW's and DiBella should stop moaning.

    Martinez was stipped for not fighting Zbik(even though he did so because HBO refused to approve Zbik as an opponent). Let's see if they strip Jr.
