god I'm sick of this opinion. The third was even at best (I gave it to Edgar) and the remaining 2 were Edgar's.

Fella, Belfort threw at the most 5 punches and all of them missed. He did land a leg kick I seem to remember. Just saying :thumbsup

Apart from some obvious choices i quite enjoyed Rampage vs Griffin as a stand up fight , when it was on the feet that is

Penn Florian was also one of them fascinating stand up affairs as was Penn Sherk

Machida Shogun 1 , Liddell Wanderlei , Couture Sylvia , Fedor Cro Cop , Penn St Pierre 1 would be some of the more obvious ones

Come on guys FFS, how were these "high level" striking matches like Machida-Shogun 1 or Le-Shamrock? These two fights were just two relatively unskilled strikers brawling with each other. They may have been great fights, but they don't fit this thread at all.

I've always found Penn vs Edgar very interesting because it really was a classic out-fighter (Edgar) vs boxer-puncher (Penn) match, with Penn taking the centre of the ring while Edgar worked on the outside. What lost Penn the match was that he wasn't fast enough to time his punches to catch Edgar coming inside, so couldn't establish that rhythm were he just wears down his opponents before finishing them in the second half of the fight (as he had with Florian and Sanchez). Penn really needed to completely retool his strategy for the second fight, probably leading with his wrestling, but never did.
