Not sure what you mean by recently, but I think nobody did less than RJJ at 175 in terms of earning titles.

His 154 lb title is total ****ing farce. Neither he nor Margarito were ranked at that weight before their contract to fight was signed.

It's gotten to the point where any big name fighter can lay claim to a vacant belt if they have a decent promoter and TV backing.

How's that? His championships were no less legitimate than those of any of the current guys. Most of the recent "champs" in that division have just picked up vacant straps or have beaten guys who picked up vacant straps.

Alvarez- Hatton Unranked fighter moving up to 150 and winning the 154 title.

Chzvez Jr.- Beat an Unknown European champion in his same weight class and I believe was ranked.

Pacquiao- Beat an unranked Margarito coming off a 2 year lay off and TKO loss.

canelo is fighting a guy in two weeks that is coming to fight. the guy has power and is a true 154.

GBP has no choice but to start making their investment pay off because the career of canelo will be short-lived.

canelo has maybe two more fights left before he is exposed as a brawler with no power.

Our sport is really in the decline for reasons like this. These guys are getting awarded titles and it's complete bs.

Get the hell out of here with that

I count Bradley as the champ at 140. He has been on top of the division longest and fought the top opposition and just beat the number 3 man.
