WBC supermiddleweight champion, Carl Froch is heading straight to an autumn unification with WBA champ Andre Ward in the final bout of the Super Six Boxing Classic. If Froch defeats Ward, the Nottingham boxer's promoter, Eddie Hearn, would like to get him a few fights - including a showdown with WBC 175-pound champion Bernard Hopkins. Hearn would like to turn Hopkins-Froch into a major Nottingham event, but doesn't rule out the possibility of the contest going to a venue in Las Vegas.

"A stadium fight for Carl in Nottingham would be the obvious stage for a fight with Hopkins, " said Hearn to Gareth Davies of The Telegraph. "But Carl is also highly regarded in America and Las Vegas could be another option. The funny thing about Carl is that he only wants the toughest fights. He just wants to fight the best out there."

A guy that has flaws like froch and lacks speed, damn hopkins wins easy if he gets to the same level as his last fight.

Froch would bend the old man over. I'm really not impressed by jean pascal as a fighter AT ALL. That guy should just go into MMA because he's no boxer. Whenever he came forward hopkins had no answers...luckily pascal averaged 7 punches per round.

Hopkins takes a beating...he won't get off. I hope this fight happens. I still favor hopkins over dawson though. Dawson doesnt throw punches either.

and by no answer i mean, hops just covered up and waited for pascal to finish his flurry. he knew pascal was good for one flurry every other round. Froch would be sustained leather.

this is not a good choice of opponent for froch he spent 3 years calling calzaghe out then lost to someone calzaghe schooled if this happens again look out froch calzaghe might just come out of retirement to retire you

Hopkins will never lose to a white boy

Maybe this fight could happen in Europe. Australia perhaps?
