That's non-sense. It was a PPV event. Who give a **** if it's sold at supermarkets, car washes or movie theaters a week in advance or a week delayed. The only thing that counts is the end result.

    Floyd fights on HBO dummy:lol:

Pac and arum tried to make out that going CBS would be revolutionary for boxing, because he believed pac is a figure to that.

    He believed wrong.

They should try the experiment with mayweather, they would have probably succeeded :deal

I thought this fight will not sell much because not many fans were convinced that this fight will be a good fight. Check out the original PPV prediction for this fight and it was already expected to be below the Floyd - Shane PPV.

lol @ Mayweather fans celebrating this like it's a victory for Floyd. Suppose when the only fighting he's done in the past year has been beating up women and poking security gaurds they'd celebrate anything now, however meaningless it is. Fact is, if Pac-Mosley did indeed do 1.3 million, it was a huge success. No-one gave Mosley a chance and everyone knew he was shot. Add to that it wasn't on HBO, and the gamble of going to Showtime and the Fight Camp 360 buildup instead of the tried and tested 24/7. Most people would've guessed 800k-1 million. It's actually far more impressive than the 1.4 million of the highly anticipated and heavily promoted Mayweather-Mosley did.

    :yep

1.3m is great!! considering all the circumstances before the fight, especially with shane's "age" and the mora fight, i thought it would only be around the margo fight numbers, or maybe even less a mil. good thing for boxing really.

i don't really care though. ffs i wouldn't get a share of those ppv numbers!!
but joyboys do. thats the only thing they would talk about their boxer now that he's retired.

Floyd fought Mosley when Mosley was champ, coming off of a stunning KO of Margarito.

Pacman cherrypicked a shot Mosley, who was coming off of two terrible performances where it was obvious to the whole world (especcially Freddie Roach, Pacman's cherrypicker) that Shane had nothing left.

So that makes Pacman's numbers more impressive than Floyd's, in my eyes at least.
