its donaire for me. he just throws sharp crisp punches and it looks like every single one he throws could potentially end the fight - left or right. the job he did on sodirenko was just beautiful, and brutal.

a close second for me is pacquiao.

    how bout you guys?

    Interesting choices, and fair enough.

But you might be geting some flak soon as racially biased here.

pacquiao lacks a good jab and doesn't throw enough uppercuts so hes doesn't qualify for me

marquez can throw all punches effectively,as can wlad and cotto, but i'd probably say marquez

Gamboa, hooks, straights, uppercuts.. all fast... often in the same combo.

    I'd say Marquez.

Pacquiao's effective against the right opponent, but he just can't hit guys who don't want to be hit

Plus, Pacquiao's jab is one of the worst I've ever seen for a PFP fighter

He may as well not even try

You know, if you're talking all boxers, everyone knows it's Mayweather.

Floyd hits people for fun. Whether they want to be hit or not.

When he fought Marquez, he was throwing shots he just wasn't seeing.

He was throwing left hooks, that were being disguised as jabs when they left his shoulder. Marquez had no answer to that. Nobody would

Say what you want about Mayweather, but there are not many boxers, in the history of the sport who could do what he does with his hands

well you could say that about pacquiao as well. in fact, im willing to bet we'll see another mayweather before we see the second coming of pacquiao. the thing is, theyre all time greats because theyve got that x factor, and for pacquiao, i think its his weird angles and unorthodox style.

It has to be RJJ in his prime for me. No one could batter fighters the way he did for fun. He threw punches like a cat in some insane angles with power and precision. For a SM/LH, he made everone else look like 100 year olds on tranquilizers......

Donaire and Gamboa are the first to come to mind.
