I hope you don't mean this as a tie in for Floyd's return to boxing?:think

Very sad to hear about this. Weren't there times when doctors thought they had his cancer in remission?

I was at the Great Western Forum on February 11 of 1991. Tommy Hearns was fighting Kemper Morton, and on the undercard there was a fighter fighting I had never seen before. I told my friend, he boxes like Tommy Hearns a little and has great angles. Just seeing him I thought I loved his boxing fundamentals and angles. It turned out to be Genaro Hernandez. Later many years later after I saw his boxing greatness in numerous bouts, I saw him at the boxing hall of fame dinner in I think 2001, and he was gracious and one of the nicest guys I ever met there. Genuine sadness today and it makes me think how unfair life is.

RIP --.. I still remember watching Hernandez and admiring the hell out of his style. He was a pretty damn slick fighter in his prime.

'Seemed to be a classy fellow. Boxing could use more of that type.
