Different division, Marquez is better than Cotto, and styles make fights.

if a ******* is someone who is only a fan of Pac and doesn't follow other fighters, then I'm definitely not a *******. If a ******* is just a boxing fan who is also a Pac fan, then I'm definitely a *******

Anyone contemplating Berto as being more accomplished than WW Cotto should stop watching boxing. Berto should have lost to Collazo, who really has always been one class bellow the top welters.

Ortiz isn't world class by any stretch and he has lost. What's more worrying about Ortiz, he has also drawn with Peterson. Now, Peterson is a good boxer, but Floyd will watch that tape and will feel ever so confident about his chances. If he can weather the early storm, he's got the fight won.

I'm excited about this fight though. While Berto wasn't good, Ortiz had to up his level to beat him (which says a lot about the perceived quality at 140), no doubt about it and he did. Ortiz deserves a shot, as he has a belt. But let's not get ahead of ourselves, it is what it is, Ortiz really isn't ready and Floyd will show that.

I think Floyd is playing smarter than Pac (aka Arum). Marquez is 5x the harder fight for Pacquiao than Ortiz will be for Floyd. But while really, I can only see Marquez fight raising more doubts about Pacquiao, Ortiz, as untested as he is, has the potential to be a solid name. Because Ortiz might develop into a top fighter. He isn't one now, but in time, who knows.

Marquez fight to me, was made by Bob Arum, as it would earn big money. I think Roach would have taken Bradley every day of the week over Marquez, because Marquez will make it competitive.

Pac is, by far, the best opponent that Void can face, but Void has a problem with "FEAR" yes, he is extremely afraid and it shows!

Yup, but at least we all know that Pac won't weigh 146 on weigh in and X weight on fight night to gain every possible advantage (imagined or real) over a small man. :good

I see this as Floyd testing the waters [fighting a young, powerful converted southpaw] for a possible Pac Superfight next year. (Kudos for the new-found "urge" Floyd ;) )

    One can't hate on that.

Where do you get your gossips, dumbass!!!

The contract was changed the eve of weigh-in, not 3 weeks before weigh-in.
