Guys, Ortiz is a good fighter and he has both boxing and brawling skills. I glad to see the young man get his shot at one of the top guys in boxing. I like Mayweather but I can see this being a difficult fight for him. Pac Man also has a difficult fight on his hands, there is a possibility that May and Pac can fight after they both lost.

it doesnt matter what outsiders think as to who ducked who, The fighters themselves know who made that move, and from what I recall it had something to do with Blood testing.

Ortiz may not satisfy the haters, but it does the true fight fans, Why you may ask? Becuase Ortiz is the best current welter weight available who is willing to take the test.

So in terms of the sport this fight makes sense, in terms of business it obviously makes sense. unless Pacquiao agrees to the testing we wont see that fight, but dont blame this on Floyd its Mannys choice to agree to it, but I am thinking he also has to have Arums permisson to agree...

I think Arum would rather the fight not take place, so that Pacquiao can continue to make money on Mayweathers name, and so that they can continue telling stories about 65 Million dollar offers that dont exist.

People keep buying Pac's fights regardless because of his staunchly loyal and significantly large fanbase. Floyd can't say the same about his fights because he can't count on this level of loyalty, and I think he recognizes that. That's why he has to fight someone like Ortiz if he chooses to fight at all, even though it's likely a mismatch.
