It's a legit fight. Get Victor "The Tuneup" Ortiz out of the way, and Floyd has 3 choices for 2012:

    1. Pac
    2. Martinez (Floyd has verbally expressed interest before and Martinez willing to do OSDT)
    3. Retire again like chicken

I actually like this fight as I'm glad to see PBF finally coming back to mix it up. There aren't too many options for May besides Pac, Sergio, and Ortiz. But you gotta admit, it's funny as **** how Victor is being built up by the *****s. It's expected though, all fan boys do it from all camps.

We all want Pac-Mayweather but it would definitely be foolish for PBF to go straight to Pac after his layoff. So yes, he needs a "tuneup" before fighting Manny. BUT this whole tuneup, retire, tuneup, retire again BS is really getting old. I just hope the sport really gets the fight it deserves this time around.

Maybe I could be wrong, but can somebody please show me posts of posters calling Ortiz the best of our generation or hyping to be this monster all of sudden...All I've been reading was on how this is a good fight given that he's the best availiable ranked opponent...Nothing more.:good

A **** fight with some ****** ducking coward will get mega payout, in the meanwhile, people are busting their asses, taking risks and getting almost nothing for it...

For what, 65 millions it was now? The ****** should go fight Pac. This isn't a tune up fight for Pac, Pac isn't even in the picture, he'll fight this easy fight, get the millions, then once again lose the urge and retire. **** that *****.

Floyd´s been out of the ring for over a year. This is a decent tune-up/warm-up -fight for May. Good to have him back on the business he knows (I hope that this Pac this Pac that blasphemy stops).

i think the annoying thing is that *****s are OVER hyping ortiz. *******s are hating on ortiz. the reality is clearly in the middle.

Ortiz is a tune up for floyd. a very good tune up as it happens. lets hope the next step is a pac vs floyd fight.

but for now, people need to relax. As i said already, its more likely floyd will fight pac when hes active, as opposed to when floyd was retired

    Not really.

I'll eventually download the fight for free or just watch the highlights and I doubt It'll be a good fight anyhow. Void is irrelevant, he's been ducking or picking on past prime, older, smaller man for the last 10 years. Just do us all a favor and retire if you don't want to get in real fights...

As far as I know, boxing fights want to see the best boxing matches possible, not some cherry picking ****** taking on older, smaller, past prime fighters, inexperienced fighters, etc... Boxing fans want to see good boxing matches, they don't buy the hype and BS fed to them. If a fighter doesn't want to fight, **** him, real boxing fans won't be fans. Real boxing fans don't like cherry picking ***gots.

I agree, it's ridiculous. I hope it's just frustration that it's not Pac, but the people that are bitching didn't really ***** so much about Pac/Mosley. Then again, it works both wats.

Sorry some of us are not psychic and can't see into the future that Floyd and Pac won't fight after this... So what will Floyd's next moves be? He will retire again then fight who next time he comes out? Is this his last fight? Please tell us since you know the future already. Anxious to hear.

Why come here just to ***** and complain dude?

    Agree

BTW it goes the same way for Pac

But IMHO I prefer them both active and not fighting each other than retired
