:dealThis and im actually a Bradley fan. Greedy ******* should have took the Khan fight and whooped him
. . . and what did I say? Bradley cannot dictate his terms at this point. He should have taken that unification fight with Khan. I'm also a Bradley fan.
well whoever he chooses to fight won't be harder than Khan as long as he's a light welterweight, so he'll be fine.
He'll be fine. He wasn't counting on getting Pacquiao or Mayweather this year, but he'll probably be first in line for Pacquiao next year and at worst will be looking at fighting Khan with a better promotional situation.
Fat Head done ****ed up, for sure this time.........it was implied that when Fat head fought Alexander, and Khan foght Maidana the winners would fight each other....Hell they were even calling each other out....and now that it is time for the knitty gritty fat head suddenly wants options....What a Vagina..... :-(
What´s with this Bradley-hate? One fight in which he ensures his financial situation and after that he´d be ready to find out how´s the man in the division (in my books Bradley´s a slight underdog against Khan, who´ll probably have a Malignaggi-style of a showdown with Judah).
Any time a fighter is managed for money first, there's going to be backlash. Fair or not, that's just how it is. In Bradley's case, it's the sudden change of heart that's really got people pissed. And I can't say I blame them (even though from a career management standpoint, it makes sense for Tim). If a fighter shows a willingness to make the fight the fans want to see, and then suddenly pulls the rug out from under them because of that fight perhaps not being the best long-term financial option, there's gonna be backlash. Speaking of Malignaggi, I'd wager he's probably on the short list of who could be Bradley's opponent for that stay-busy fight.
Right because there are only seven guys in the whole light welterweight division :nut (not counting PBF, the only one you mentioned who isn't currently or very recently campaigning at 140). Holt rematch, Morales, Guzman, Kotelnik, Swift Garcia, winner of Cayo-Peterson, winner of Matthysse-Alexander (another possible rematch)... it isn't as though there is a dearth of high-level matchups to be made at the weight. Granted, I'd favor Bradley in every single one of those matchups since to me he is head and shoulders the best of the class - but they'd all be every bit as legitimate as the match-ups you mentioned.
Bradley should have taken the Khan fight but he could still end up just fine. He can get back on HBO, as long as he faces someone they approve, for a nice paycheck and then look to face Khan late 2011 or early 2012. Right now he's on the outside of a lot of big fights but he can still get right back in there, he seems to be waiting out his contract so he can sign with Top Rank which puts him right at the front for Pacquaio, if Mayweather doesn't get Pac first.
Understandable recoil - but still I don´t blame Bradley for making some money first before a high-risk -fight. Just my opinion but you have to appreciate the fact that boys are earning money for the rest of their life. Malignaggi should be easy enough for fight for Tim´s tune-up cash-fight before facing Khan (which I really would like to see).
My problem is, he is actin like he is some kind of attraction, he does not draw anywere, so when kahn gave up right to uk ppv as well come on,
