    TY.

In that case the gate in my calculation was underestimated. Then it might be 3M instead of 2.

    To redo it:

    Television:
    US (SHOWTIME): 2M
    Canada (PPV): 1M
    Denmark (PPV): 1M
    Other territories: 1M

    Gate: 3M
    Sitefee: ½M

    This totals 8½M

After fighterpurses there's 1½M left to undercard and profits.

I dont think I'd be that far off here. Television from other territories and sitefee are probably the most uncertain parts.

I am not sure how these things works... In football/soccer for example the clubs generate some of the money from the commercials around the field...

And the site fee must be an expence right?

Ok. There might be a little bit there.

Sitefee: No. I know stadiums in Germany competed for the Wlad-Haye fight. The venue pays a price and then they probably cover their expenses with sale of food and beverages etc.

I know for a fact that the Nielsen vs. Holyfield fight in the concert house in copenhagen, and the Kessler-Bouadla in Parken stadium, Saurland had to pay fees to the venues. I do not know the terms about the froch fight in Herning.

It was Viasat Network who paid the rent for the Concert house 100.000 Danish kroner.

Kessler-Stieglitz makes more sense, sets up a unification fight for more money, the 168 division could then be on course to get an undisputed champion and Kessler gets another warm up fight.

Hmmm... ok. Maybe the german competition was for lowest expense then lol.

    There goes ½M then. :(

Well I don't mind a Stieglitz fight either, but it really cannot compete with a Bute fight. Anyway how many fights has Kessler got left? Maybe 3 or 4 at the top level tops so he needs the recognition he wants pretty fast and a Stieglitz fight likely doesn't do any good for him in North America.

I don´t think Stieglizt will be much trouble for Kessler, and it will not be a hard fight for him. It will be an extra tune-up fight, and if he can get paid the same or more fighting Stieglitz in Germany, than he can get fighting Bute in Montreal, then its an easy choice.

Yeah if you are in this game strictly for the money. There's also a legacy to think about, but yeah. If the money is the same the choice isn't difficult.

What I know from experience is the cheapest price is around 60$ so average 100$ or a little bit more is not far from the truth.
