You may have a point . . . but it's still a fight. At least Mayflower is out of his vacation and can negotiate for his next fight. If he still doesn't negotiate and goes back into another vacation after this fight . . . then he'll expose himself more clearly. :D

Look compared to Sergio, Pacman, or Floyd especially of course anyone else seems limited. But Ortiz isnt the same that got embarrassed by Maidana. I admit his defense could be better, but hes improved alot. Hes not as reckless either. Maidana, now hes a limited fighter, but that doesnt mean he cant beat someone more skilled than he is.

Yes I think he is limited in comparison to Floyd. Floyd wants to fight him to get a big win and look invincible. I give Ortiz credit for coming back after having some tough fights. He does have heart. I think Floyd will win, but I hope Ortiz comes out quickly in round one and maybe just a small chance he can hit Floyd and hurt him. It will be tough for Ortiz. Ortiz has to put it all on the line and fight almost like Juan Roldan did against Hearns. just punch and punch and maybe something wild will land. If he comes out taking his time, Floyd will time his rhythm and have an easy fight.

He's a very flawed fighter, but a worthy opponent. Definitely not somebody who would have been a champion in a stronger welterweight era.

He's a good fighter, it's a good tuneup for either Martinez or Pac... hopefully he ends up fighting one of those 2.

Ortiz is still green , he's 24. His defensive is pretty **** poor... he is extremely vulnerable to right hand leads and counters , just watch the Berto,Maidana or Peterson fights. I fully expect Mayweather to dominate Ortiz, especially with right hand counters.

Ortiz has pretty good power, and has power in both hands... but his balance and footwork is pretty clumsy, and like I said... no defense.

not as reckless ?? did you watch the Ortiz/Berto fight? He comes flying in with his hands down and chin out... and gets caught by huge counters. The only difference was that Berto isn't as heavy handed as Maidana.

also the peterson fight he was getting tagged by right hand after right hand.

what i'd like to know is why are floyd fans trying to hype this quitting *****?

they dont like boxing, if they did they wouldnt like mismatches.

Of course he's limited; everyone realizes this.

However, there is someone whose most creditable victory of recent vintage is probably Margarito...who's about ten times more limited than Ortiz. :deal

Say what you will about Ortiz, but he's a tougher fight for a 147 lb fighter (as it stands today) than JMM. Don't get me wrong I respect the hell out of JMM, he's a "fighters fighter" and there's nothing not to like about him...but his fight with PBF demonstrated he has no business at 145 and up, Floyd shut him out and beat his ass. Ortiz is a strong young champion in the prime of his career, this is a solid fight.

limited margo beats limited ortiz, that aside you're right they're mismatches and fans shouldnt let them walk all voer them like that.

erisland lara would have been a better tune up for grape drank jr.

are you a boxing fan or a floyd fan?

anyone who knows **** about boxing knows this is as **** as pacquiao vs margo except ortiz has a shitter chin and is a quiter and went life and death against a bum berthoe.

  15. Tell us then who should FLOYD have fought?
    1.) Cotto
    2.) Margo-CHEAT0
