I'm wondering if the scenario is simply a case of mutual avoidance, and they'll fight each other when all other big money fights out there are exhausted. Assuming Floyd beats Ortiz, I think we'll see him fight Khan in Q1/Q2 2012 (if Amir gets past Zab of course). Pac beats Marquez, then probably also fights again in the following Spring. Maybe someone like Canelo or, less likely, Berto (he'll get back on track in a redemption bout I imagine). I suppose my point is that there's still a lot of cash to be made in fights where they are both the clear favourites, whereas they're both a risk to each other. It's business after all, and the hype surrounding Floyd/Khan at Wembley or Pac/Canelo in Mexico would be significantly damaged if they're coming off a loss. So, Pac vs Floyd Q3/Q4 2012 as the icing on the cake to their respective careers? :conf

But how much would they make if they fought , had a rematch and possibly a 3rd fight? More than if they each have 3 fights against other guys?

Its more like Pac is staying busy fighting waiting for Floyd and Floyd retiring and fighting someone pretending its a tune-up for Pac but end up retiring again to avoid Pac and the cycle is repeated over and over again deal:deal
