I know most people won't care but I shall persevere, seeing as along with fellow 115lbs champions Cristian Mijares and Tomas Rojas, Narvaez is one of my favourite fighters. Coming off one of his best career displays against Cesar Seda, he makes another defence of his WBO title in a stay-sharp fight against late replacement William Urina tomorrow night. I'm not going to write one of my usual essays, just letting you all know about one of, if not the best fighter you may not know. :sad2

Hey Aston, up yours. Up yours with a rusty one! If you make a solid contribution here, I'll make one to your thread. Dick. EDIT: No I won't. That thread's shite and getting lounge'd.
It's a standard tune up for Narvaez, the type he'd been having for most of his career before he fought Seda. Hopfully he fights at the top level again soon and proves he's the best. He looked superb against Seda, and hopefully he can recreate that form against the likes of Hugo Cazares and maybe even your boyfried who holds the IBF belt :yep. I doubt this tune up will tell us much, but it will be great nonetheless to see the hurricane back in action.
Generally, he hasn't looked interested. But the fight against Seda and the fact he's called for a fight with Darchinyan indicate that there may very well be a change. Bit harsh, Juan Carlos Sanchez was going to be a relatively decent opponent. Urina's come in at a week's notice. Bit of a misconception. The problem mostly is how dispersed his good opposition has been over the course of his career. The likes of Sarritzu, Makhmutov, Asloum, Pozo and Whitfield were all fairly highly ranked when he beat them. Plus he has a win over a current champion in Lazarte. Not a stellar resume, but how poor it is gets a bit overstated. Indeed. Hopefully. He beats Cazares with ease IMO. I wish.:deal It'll display his skills, nothing more really. By the way, ''El Huracan''.
I hope the reason for the apparent lack of interest is because you're all watching the Seda fight. Only, I see an Amir Khan thread being repeatedly bumped......
