Anyone see Archie Ray Marquez lose on ESPN last night?

Thought his opponent, a random Armenian called Art looked quite handy. These Armenians sure know how to fight. He drew Marquez onto shots all night long and dropped him about 4 times on the way to a conclusive stoppage.

That said Archie's chin is clearly woeful and he was exposed pretty badly, he had no idea what to do with somebody with boxing skill. It will be interesting to see how Art progresses.

I haven't seen it but saw Alba posted this clip of the Armenian in the other thread.

Did he look good last night then?

Better than Archie Ray thats for sure :D

Very hard to tell whether AR was making him look great or whether he is good. Probably somewhere in the middle, he's certainly handy. Has a draw on his record to a nobody, maybe it was just a blip...

On a side note...check this out. Do all Armenians go to the same barbers?

Did Marquez look a bit fragile? Seen him once or twice before and he looked quite weak physically.

Apart from being down like 4 times and then sparked out he was perfectly sturdy. :yep

    Didn't read that :patsch

Last time I saw him (more than a year ago) he still looked like a kid. He actually looks a bit more solid in that vid!

That Art looked pretty good. But Marquez looked woeful.

Art 'Attack' Hovhannesyan=Remember the name

His actual nickname is 'Lion Heart', but I like mine better, he's another clip :good

Bout to watch it now. 4pm show on Prem Sport. Just finished watching FNF on ESPN. Not a bad way to spend a boring Saturday.

I like this Art already...round 1 and he's showing skills and power.

He's open to right hand lead though but he's exciting and he's very sharp! and picks shots well. Looks like a decent chin to go with his ability.

He's not meant to be a puncher either IIRC...seems like he hits harder than a none-puncher

He was class, Moved well and moved his head offline really well. He'd drop his level at times and roll and counter. Times he'd just step off to side just to offset Marquez.

He sharp with his counters. Liked way he switched stances as well like Pirog vs Jacobs KO. Awkward to deal with but i think he's the top that would struggle against a good pressure fighter. Noticed the tongue coming out a lot and deep breathing and dropping of hands at times....might be a gasser if made to fight at a higher tempo.

Very good show so far btw. Don't need to have title fights just a good bill and matchmaker take a bow sir!
