ok, you do observe something legitimate. Mayweather does have speed, but he doesnt commit fully into his punches. This is the other side of power, mass.

Ultimately, this is the separation between "Boxers" and "Punchers". Boxers are able to "accelerate" their punches but generally lose "mass" in the punch thru their accelerating technique. Puncher's "load" up and commit all their mass in their punches, but doing that slows it down also.

You're trying to say he's an "Explosive" puncher, one of those physically gifted athletes that can accelerate their punches but maintain alot of mass in it with their higher-developed muscle fibers that expand & contract on another level. Mike Tyson, RJJ, Gamboa. Ummmm, nope - Mayweather IS NOT one of those....

no matter how much you may believe in this, im not sure you can even convince a ***** that Void is an Explosive Puncher
    :patsch:rofl

    Marlon Starling
    Don Curry
    Roy Jones
    Michael Nunn
    Terry Norris.

To name just a few who made speed the most powerful tool.

Don't Try and school me , you would be in for a very long lesson.

    Ok Simple question

Would Floyd have a higher or Lower percentage knockout ration against the fighters Maidana and Berto have fought.

And no smilies please , it just makes your comments (which are good ) look childish.

exactly why would i buy into playing this game of speculation with you?

Look, i understand you want to act like a sacrificial lamb for an absurd, self-made agenda, but d00d, leave me out of it!

Just wait until the morning ESB crowd catches up to this fodder! I'll be the least of your worries!

In terms of raw punching power it goes Maidana>>>Berto>Floyd

However in terms of speed and accuracy it goes Floyd>>>Berto>Maidana

Speed does not equal power. Technique equals power. Leverage equals power. Genetics influence power etc.

I disagree I think Berto has some solid right hand power. As you state though, he couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat.

floyd drains his opponents for the course of bout and then knocks them out, i would agree with what you've wrote but i do feel maidana has more power but then again? is maidana's power overrated due to morales walking through them

I wouldn't say he hits way harder. Maidana certainly has the harder natural power P4P IMO. Mayweather's accuracy, punch placement, speed, etc makes up for his overall punching power...along with his great use of using his opponents momentum.
