no it's not, it's from the Mayweather fight. Away and do your homework. The ref against Pac was a black man wearing blue gloves, there's your first clue. That's Hatton in a bad way, having been knocked silly by Mayweather, and Joe Cortez waves him off.
And among Hatton's WBU defences were Vince Phillips, Ben Tackie and Ray Oliveira, each of whom he outboxed. Tszyu-conqueror Phillips was big and dangerous, while Tackie and Oliveira had the highest CompuBox outputs on record yet could hardly get anything off at all against Hatton's timing and accuracy. He outboxed Urango and Malignaggi too, an advancement on Tackie and Oliveria. Throw in the perfect tactics against lb4lb #3 Tszyu, and perfect body-punch finish of great body-puncher Castillo, and you get a great resume of triumphs on boxing ability.
No it's not, it's from the Floyd fight. But whilst Ricky was being caught with sharp, accurate shots he was also not 'KTFO', he was stopped, outclassed, whatever you wanna' call it, but not as Betty says, 'KTFO' or whatnot.
Don't talk shite. Floyd just took his time. In no way was he losing the fight and no chance on this planet was Floyd worried It's laughable to think you even believe what you're typing. It was (and I use the term loosely) 'competitive' for 4-5 rounds but it was never I'n doubt who was controlling the fight and who was taking the bigger shots (lead rights and check lefts). Cortez wasn't great but he didn't really affect the fight. Apart from doing his job and stopping Hatton from his usual mauling
Why don’t you British folk know the difference between the photos of British boxing? You knew that was a Pac photo yet you’re the *******s of world boxing.
Wasn't hatton 8 rounds down by the time of the stoppage? It was a one-sided fight, a complete schooling and Hatton's fans are deluded if they think it was anythig else...
I gave Hatton two rounds, the first and the fifth. Mayweather had a look at him in the first and from then it was relatively straight forward, though Hatton had his moments in each of the rounds up until the point deduction. From then he lost it completely and took a pasting.
This is seriously bollox mate, I thought the fight was close early on at the time but having rewatched it a load of times, its obvious Hatton was largely ineffective early. He was barely landing anything that didn't hit gloves at all and what he was landing wasn't too clean. He did land a pretty good body shot at 1 stage though. Every round Mayweather was landing clean punches Yes Hatton did slow because he started so fast, you can't really fight as effectively when you front runner like that. Mayweather was pacing himself, starting slowly and waitpicking his time to attack As for their being a different ref who didn't actually enforce the rules - because hitting and holding is against the rules. Why do Hatton fans think it would be any different? Hatton wasn't getting any work done in those clinches anyway and Mayweather was working his body and bullying him with the forearm Yes if Hatton was a completely different fighter, a better jab, better head movement, with loads more stamina and speed, yes he might have won then
