Unflavored powder is the way to go. You can throw some chocolate, bananas, berries, eggs, milk, cereal, whatever in it. I have never tasted flavored protein powder that I thought was good. Gotta make a legit shake in the blender lol.

Don't do this, your muscle grows when it is recovering..If it is training everyday you are not giving it time to recover.

You will see bigger gains by only training chest once, twice maximum a week..
    Try it, honestly.

Also train the other big muscle groups (back, legs) because you don't want to be out of proportion!

Whey is actually a very cheap source of protein. $30 for a couple of kilos, 30 gramme shake giving you maybe 30 grammes of Protein. Try to eat 200 grammes of Protein from chicken and fish for more than a couple of days and you'll see why all athletes eat whey*

*whey is a food, not a supplement. It has calories.

Eat enough red meat and you won't need any protein shakes. I don't know about you guys, but I'd much rather eat some steak, or have some bacon and eggs than drink a protein shake.

Also, if you'd doing protein shakes, be careful which kind you get, a lot of them are full of either sugar or artificial sweeteners.

Ever tried to eat 200 grammes of protein in bacon and eggs? Its possible but the risks of coronary heart disease are too much, unless you are genetically very lucky and have no family history of it.

2 lbs of red meat will give you 200 grams of protein.

Bacon and eggs won't give you heart disease either.
