At a guess I'd say Atlantic City or possibly Connecticut

Golovkin has excellent timing, he reminds me a lot of Tzsyu the way he fights.

Bloody hell, brave move from Hearn and Barker. Looks like it' on with Vera/Lee II on the undercard.

If the Chavez Jr. fight is on the table then why not take that?

Martinez is without doubt a great fighter but he is definately overrated on here....fact of the matter is that he has only faced one true middleweight , a drink adled and under trained Kelly Pavlik...Barker has a chance although I wouldn't put my house on it.

Kelly Pavlik was a massive middleweight with a punch to match, just as skilled as barker, tougher and didn't gas late on like Barker has done. Kelly Pavlik would of knocked Barker out if he was defending against him instead of loosing to Martinez.

Lee isn't up for it! Neither is Barker obviously, but get that chip off your shoulder.

Any particular reason why HBO/Martinez's people would approve/take Barker but not a Pirog fight? Are they banking on a biggish English support/push for the fight?

Maybe they think that the Pirog fight could become something bigger if it is "marinated" [/Bradley].

Seems to me that if that was true they'd be doing more to get Pirog back on HBO but as far as we know there's not been a massive amount of movement on that. Disappointing really imo

Barker obviously fancies being a GIMP for a couple rounds.
