Your boy doesnt have the balls to step in the ring with a gifted boxer like Jones...Christsakes man are you high..Winky Wright almost beat Slopkins...What **** poor standards:-( I'm sure if the media told you Slopkins could defy gravity you would believe it:-( Hopkins might be top 100 p4p certainly not top 10...Watched him fight lately??Even the most die hard boxing fan would rather go birdwatching...Who knows maybe Slopkins will give Joe a nice cut to deal with early..Calzaghe's pressure + Hopkins head lunging= a cut for Calzaghe
Sorry to disapoint you, but you are really delusional if you think Joe slaps. Taylor would get outworked and pavlik is just a smaller version of kessler. Now back when RJJ was in his prime i would give him a chance of stoping joe but lets face it, it is not going to happen now is it.
Just put it this way, it's a lot easier for Hopkins to make 175 than it is for RJJ. My guess is that Hopkins does very little draining before the weigh ins at this weight. I'm sure RJJ has to do a good amount of that. RJJ has been fighting at LHW for years. Hopkins just moved up. Yeah, he did hold back due to his great conditioning but answer this? Could RJJ fought at MW for all these years as Hopkins did even if he did try? I think you know the answer. RJJ is the naturally bigger guy however slight that might be. Same with Joe C.
My boy? Hey dumbass look at my Avatar. Roy is my favorite fighter. I am just a boxing fan and not a ******. :good
That's harsh on Kessler He has far better boxing ability and defence than that slapheaded slugger He would be Lacyed without doubt, and there is even a chance of a stoppage given the volume of punches Joe could land at will, and Pavlik's less than awesome chin
Joe C can't hurt RJJ. That's one thing i know. And i think that is why RJJ would be confident in this one. If RJJ decides to let his hands go, i think he has a shot at a UD. People talk about Joe C being busy but there is a weapon to counter that and it's called a good counter punch to stop you in your tracks.
Jones could have fought at MW as long as he chose to. Hopkins started at 175....What indication do you have that Jones couldn't have fought at 160 for long? Remember at the time, the really great fighters were at 168....that's the only reason Jones moved up. Toney, McClellan, Benn, Eubank....they were all at 168.
What indication do i have that Jones couldn't have fought at MW? HMM, let's see, the fact that he said it himself? Dude, the last time Jones was a MW as like in 1993. Get real. He moved to SMW somewhere in the mid 90's because he's just too big for MW. Come on man, this is obvious stuff.
I wouldn't be so sure about that A prime RJJ I would tend to agree, but I wouldn't call Antonio Tarver a huge puncher. He hasn't knocked out anybody of any real pedigree Joe hurt Kessler, which is easily forgotten. He is a young man in his prime. It could be volume of punches rather than power that hurts him in the end
When did Jones say he couldn't make MW any more? BTW, Jones said he could make SMW anytime he chose when he was at LHW. Him not fighting at MW since 1993 has nothing to do with the question you previously asked. You asked if Jones could have STAYED at MW. When he last fought there is little indication. At best, Jones is a natural SMW....
I wouldnt describe G Johhnson as a major puncher at 75 either and he had rjj out cold! JC would stop Roy.
