    Considering Hatton's other fight at 147 resulted in him wobbling around several times against a gate-keeping title-holder.

    Of course they have complained, but it's been enough time that it doesn't come up a lot anymore.

    same thing as pac jmm III..

    honestly needs to be at 140. a 140 pac vs a 140 JMM sounds VERY thrilling..

    Obviously Hatton was at a disadvantage but he would never have got the fight any other way.

    absolutely not, floyd was the higher ranked fighter and the guy with the big ppv number from the hoya fight, floyd moved up to 154 to face oscar and so should hatton as he did. It only takes a little bit of shine from the win because one can argue that hatton wasnt at his ideal weight, for situations like this either it goes down like it did or a catchweight should be the case, same situation would be now if bradley or khan unifies and move sup up to face pac/floyd, either it is at a catchweight or just 147.

    No because that is where Hatton should have been in that point of his career, it was his time to move up, Hatton was actually bigger than May by 10 or 15 pounds he used to balloon up 30 or 40 pounds between fights, that 147 limit benefited him, who look like a white sheet rock skeleton at 140 vs Pac. His first fight 147 he struggled but in his next vs Floyd he looked sharp, superb footspeed, and head movement and strong chin, it took one of the best left hooks I ever seen to put Hatton down. If Hatton had a better team they could have convinced him to stay 147, than killing himself to drain vs Pac.

    Nah man.

    Even though Hatton was more suited to 140, he was the challenger and it was he who needed Floyd. The onus was on him to move up to the then P4P king's weight class. Not that it made much of a difference, of course. Floyd beat Hatton because he was more skilled and savvy in the ring, not because he was the bigger guy.

    :lol::rofl:patsch

    Hatton had ONE fight at 147. He looked terrible and nearly got knocked out. Under what epistemological promise can you say that being at 147 benifited him?:lol:

    Well, when you call out the lineal champ at 147, odds are, the fight will be at 147.

    People did mention it a bit, but at the end of the day even die hard hatton fans realise floyd is just too good for hatton, whatever weight it would be fought at

    Well, Floyd agreed to fight JMM at 144 but ****ed him on the scales and paid a fine. No point trusting Floyd with anything really, he always finds a way around it.
