It is a way to promote the PPV event later on in the evening on Primetime using a free to air channel. Good idea in my mind. Channel 5 and Primetime are linked ownership wise (Richard Desmond) as is the Daily Star etc. Handy when you have a few outlets for a spot of cross promotion. Works well for Sky!!! I would fall of my chair if channel 5 ever followed up on this with more boxing!
So this is like Arum with the CBS/Showtime thing except CBS didn't show any fights, just the Fight Camp episodes. Not a bad idea. This is a good idea, at domestic level get fighters on 5 and once they step up you can put it on Primetime.
im pleased we get to see the fight for free, even if it is on channel 5. i maybe wrong, but i think the last fight i watched live on channel five was holyfield-moorer 2.
I believe it can be tuned in the same way ITV4 etc can be on a sky box. You'll have to google it though cause I can't be arsed looking for it.
Where is the Fury Chisora fight, I heard Hennessey was putting it on in somewhere bizzare like Moscow.
