I know he quit against Maidana but he came back re-focused and fought like a true warrior against Berto! He's an all action fighter and hes fun to watch. He glides like a Super Hero and he doesnt throw jabs just power shots!! Hes a down to earth humble young champion! I hope he shocks the world on sept. 17th... [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9OybNRIDExU[/ame] Have you ever seen larry so happy to give a post fight interview?? :rofl How many "yes sirs" came out of victors mouth!? [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ghuX2ZvM_M8[/ame] The young humble champion at the post fight presser! [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uPQK6b3ah18[/ame]
I never understood the hate he recieved here from everyone, so I was buzzing when he beat Berto. Massive props to him for that. But he shouldn't be in the ring with Floyd. Poor guy's gonna be embarrassed, and everyone will be hating on him again.
Victor Ortiz has redeem himself. I don't see losing to Floyd should be something he hangs his head on. Floyd is on another level!
Ortiz is a great kid! What's not to like about him? Great personality, respectful, humble and fun to watch. Unfortunately Floyd is gonna make him look like an amature...I wish he'd get one more fight in before taking on Floyd but oh well...
If Victor declined the fight then people would say he's scared and showing the lack of heart he showed against Maidana. Now all the sudden he's a fool for facing Floyd and is gonna get hated on for stepping up against one of this era's great fighters? :blood Haters gonna hate no matter what. He's behaving like a champion by accepting the challenge of a very capable challenger. You have zero chance of springing an upset if you never take the plunge. He'll be the underdog but I'll be gunning for him. He definitely made me a fan in the Berto fight. :happy
Every fighter at one point in time has to beat a fighter on another level if they ever want to get to that level.
Yeah floyd is going to make the fight look like the gatti fight, cant see ortiz quiting against floyd though, could be very bad for his career though well his mental game anyway
There is a big difference between Gatti and Ortiz, fellas. Gatti was already battle worn, slowed beyond his prime when he fought Floyd. Ortiz is a young 24 year old and bigger.
I am with you, i like the kid. Nasty in the ring but a class act outside of it. He is fantastic for boxing!
