Of course, but there is no room for logic here.

I never thought of Mayweather as a "bad" guy. Nor does a "good" act here and there in the public eye make someone a "good" guy.

I'm not a fan of Mayweather's personality, but that more cause he's manipulated easily and kind of a tool for "Get rich or die trying...life is all about money" proponents in the world.

I respect his skills and understand he's doing his thing. But more or less he's a loud talking pawn spitting out weak values.

Who buy's $5 million in jewelry and not understand the only thing you are doing is making the jeweler rich?

 

thing is this, if you have a guy who acts like a ******* most of the time then does something really kind-hearted it makes people wonder hmm maybe he isnt so bad after all (works really well with chicks by the way) the opposite is also true if a guy is always friendly and nice then all of a sudden does something that makes him look like a total dick he will come across as being really fake most of the time and the kindness will seem like a act where he is hiding his mean side.

The 1st guy is sure enough of himself to risk not be liked by anyone.

The 2nd comes off as a weak person with a desperate need to be liked by everyone. An approval seeker.

Quietly but the whole world knows. That doesn't sound too quietly for me. Nice move by Floyd though.

 

If Mayweather's associates didn't open their mouths and tell the world then it would have been quietly done.

Mayweather gives back to the community and people a lot more than people realize or wish to realize.
