nah i don't mind the long build up this is sorta fight that will build and build with plenty of articles and videos and as the time nears the realization will be clear that Miguel Cotto needs closure! and Margarito knows in his heart he's a cheat.

 

Would love Cotto to win this but really unsure if he can do it, Marg broke him that night!

I actually think that Antonio Margarito wasn't fully aware that he was cheating as such. A lot of boxers generally just tend to go with whatever they're told/made to do by trainers, promoters, managers etc.

I doubt it was a genuine, concious decision to say "right, let's load these up and see what happens."

That's not to say I think he's completely innocent either or that I condone it in anyway, I just think it's easy to criticise but hard to put yourself in his position and understand the full truth of the actual situation.

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to a rematch between the two because the first fight was terrific. It's funny that the best two fights of 2008 (Pacquiao/Marquez) are finally getting their deserved rematches but there's different controversies and opinions surrounding both.

 

IF, IF Antonio was cheating he's paid the price now, he's gotten 2 ass whippings, and Mosley was defo on PED's that night, lets be honest. Not saying what he was allegded to have done was right, but every1 deserves a second chance........

No he hasn't paid the price because when it's all said and done he counts up the $$$ he earned from them beatings.

What he could of done to Mosley and if used against others could of led to career ending injuries let alone something worse like brain damage or even murder though him and his trainers cowardly antics.
