Mikkel Kessler has turned down Bute's offer to fight later this year.. Bute's camp said the offer was refused the reason being not enough money was offered but at the same time.. Kessler's camp didn't ask for more money.. so its looking now that Bute will look to fight the winer of the super six in 2012 but he wont get the chance to fight Kessler prior to that

Bute didn't want to fight in the S6.

    Bute only fights in Canada.

Kessler will beat Steigeltz for a belt.

Will Bute come to Denmark to fight Kessler and get his belt?

    Yeah....that's what i thought too.

So were they supposed to fight in Montreal or in Denmark or in a neutral venue? What did they offer moneywise? One million, two million, one dollar?

All I see here is a post of blablabla I read in a newspaper blablabla.... What a load of utter bollocks...

they were supposed to fight in USA.. but the money is reported to be a few millions. the biggest offer Interbox has ever offered .. well that's what Bute's camp is saying anyway...

Kessler fought Ward in the US.

    Kessler fought Calzaghe in Wales.

Kessler travels to fight the best he isn't a ***** like Bute and that's why Bute's whining here is causing a backlash because genuine boxing fans respect Kessler even if they don't think he'll win we know a warrior and we know a paper champion Bute is the very definition of a paper champion and until he leaves his comfort zone and fights like a champion he'll never be respected if he continues disrespecting champions like Kessler.

Sauerland said himself he received an offer. He said it was too low and would make a counter offer. That's coming out of his mouth. He didn't make a ounter offer and went for a Stieglitz fight instead. Is it bla bla bla?

Facts are facts. Kessler's promoter chose another way before even answering to the offer.

bute was not invited in the super 6.

Bute wants to fight outside Canda.

Kessler is takins an easier opponent in Stieglitz.

bute may come in Denmark but for that, Sauerland has to make him an offer, what he didn't do, even if he said he would.

Yeah... that's what I thought too.

Laffie that is such bull**** it's unreal! You know full well Bute was offered to join the S6 but refused; it was well documented when the S6 was announced.

And you say Bute *may* come Denmark if Sauerland make him an offer and *may* is exactly that: may; meaning not certain.

Kessler took HIS belt abroad TWICE and fought like a warrior. Bute hasn't done that.

You and I both know that if kessler fights bute in Canada he needs a knockout don't we? Lets not beat about the bush now...

I'm not saying Bute is ****. I like Bute very much he's a fantastic fighter but he cherry picks he's bloody terrible in that respect all he does is cherry pick! He needs to fight abroad, he needs to take his belt abroad, he needs to chase other belts and not 'make offers' and 'claim' counter offers. He needs to show his skills.

Until Bute does these things he and his team have zero right to slag of Kessler who took risks that we as fans want to see.

Without fighters like Kessler boxing really would be dead.

You have no clue about this Laffie. Sorry to say this, but you have no idea of what you are talking about. Maybe Sauerland simply does not wan't to divulge wether or not he made a counter offer maybe he didn't make a counteroffer. I'm quite certain that promotors are pretty liberal concerning so called truths about ongoing negotiations and that goes for Interbox as much as Sauerland...

Let us assume it is true. Then there are some questions raised. USA? Well, there is of course a difference between north-east USA and California. The latter is neutral ground, whereas the other will be a canadian invasion. How much money? The same way as fighters can price them out of a fight, managers can push opponents away.

If Sauerland really didn't want the fight, and Interbox didn't either, this seems as logical actions. Interbox gives an offer, they know Sauerland won't accept. Sauerland grabs it, and chooses another path. Both sides got what they wanted. info about the other side and a way out. The foundations for real negotiations are laid sometime in the future, if both fighters continue to win.

i think this was supposed to be in Vegas , Bute alone cant draw crowds in USA but the combined effort would have been just enough for the promoter to make money !
