yeah....**** off...took him 5 years with barley a fight a year to figure out this wasnt working out so good? then hes another dummy who gets sidelined for the meat of his career because he didnt know what the **** he was signing...whatever.... now its been 4 months man, wheres his next fight? i dont see anything yet....looks like another lay off....and who cares what cunningham did 5 years to a 21 year old Huck... what has he done since? besides lose, be inactive and get knocked on his ass? your obviously a homer from his town...just hate to see the dude waste his prime years, he won the ibf tile 5 years....and has had 5 ibf fights since then...you should be wanting to light a fire under him rather than make excuses for him...

**** yourself dumbass. You don't know ****. It's one thing to point out the man's inactivity. However, to question his heart and work ethic shows just how ignorant you are. If the guy simply didn't want to fight, he wouldn't have switched promoters and went halfway across the world looking for fights. Again, I have no problem with anyone saying the man should be more active. However, to call him heartless and lazy only exposes your ignorance and willingness to completely talk out of your ass. Now **** off return to watching your shitty Chicago sports teams.:deal

He beat Huck, split a two fight series with Wlodarczyk, lost a close fight to Adamek, and pulled out a win over Jones. Hes got the best resume in the cruiserweight division in my opinion. In fact I think he pretty clearly has the best resume in the cruiserweight division. He may be the best in the division because Lebedev got the bad end of the wrong decision in Germany, and because Haye and Adamek moved up to Heavyweight. That may not be a desirable way to reach the top but he has proven himself in the fights I listed as being the best in the division currently. Huck maybe fighting often but he isn't beating Cunningham or Wlodarczyk, or beating Lebedev clearly. When he does start to beat them properly then you can argue Huck is the best in the division and I will agree with you.

At what point did I say Huck sucks? I said he was a crude fighter, a crude fighter can still succeed with other qualities. Baldomir, Margarito and Darchinyan for example are crude in my book. All had quite a degree of success, so don't try and pull that one.

Knowing Steve and his family really well. I know that he wants to fight four times a year.

It's not the fighters that decide who and when they fight it's their promoters and/or manager.

Unfortunately for Steve he was with Don King for most of his career and that lead to a lot less fights than he would have liked.

Since moving to Sauerland Event - the same promoter as Huck by the way - things have already changed and Steve is getting more regular fights.

Oh, and by the way Steve next scheduled fight is just two months away in August.

As for describing Steve Cunningham as lazy just goes to show that you have no idea what you are talking about.

Just check out any video of Steve training - he always trained as if he has a fight planned, even when with Don King, and right now he is in Austria sparring Wlad

Please get your facts right before posting, otherwise you could find yourself looking rather foolish

Like how Huck stays active. He fights a lot of bums, but that's ok as long as you also fight better competition on a regular basis.
Cunningham is not active, but looking at the names he fought, this equals what Huck has done. Maybe even slightly better. Enad Licina is just as good as a Denis Lebedev. The difference is that Cunningham didn't face so many bums in between.

Haha.. These clowns are funny. The only good thing about Huck is his activity. However his promoters put him up against your typical punching bags in the gym to protect huck from loosing. It's smart though for His promoter, Huck is their cash cow right now. So he fights unranked fighters. And Steve has the same promoter so he can fight more. What some of you geniuses don't know is Steve's camp has been calling out different fighters in the top 10 and they all overlook him for some reason...:think

whats up with STEVE? i like to see our few u.s. champions actually fight once in a while? wonder how timothy bradley feels about the amount of time the ibf gives there belt holders to sit on their title? WBC stripped him after 4 or 5 months because he wouldnt give them a confirmed answer on his next fight...its been 7 months for cunningham...he has no fight scheduled...if they do happen to throw something together really quick, it will be a garbage fight... huck has ZERO lined up right now since he just fought....this is whats wrong with boxing when both are in need of an opponent and both have belts...and both will not fight each other...
