Ricky needs to stop being a *****. And this is the biggest money fight at 140 esp in England.

Witter has already made it very clear that he will give up his share of the purse to fight Ricky and lets not forget that a while back Hatton said he would fight him once he has a title.

Witter has pulled out all the stops to make this fight happen, not only is it the biggest fight available at lightwelter for Ricky (with the highly regarded WBC belt up for grabs too) its also the most dangerous and imo the problem lies therein

History will always question Hattons motives with regards to this match up.

 

So what, he thinks he is being persecuted because he is a black man by not being allowed to fight Hatton. ****ing crybaby

 

just read an interview on bbc boxing with ricky hattons old man.
he says rickys got 5 more fights planned before retirement and although witter isnt going to be his first comeback fight wittter is in the plans at "some stage"

believe what you like but the uk needs to see this fight.

I agree but I think he could have tried harder to get that opposition rather than hang off Hatton's coat tails. Anyone would think that Hatton is the only top 140 pounder out there.

 

Let's make this simple. Hatton just lost at 147 . . . what would be the best logical move for him to maintain his stature?

He's ****i'n stupid if he'll remain at 147 . . . and he'll be ****i'n ***** if he stays at 147 and refuse a unification.

Hatton is the only top 140 pounder out there, period. He is the ring belt holder. Paullie is just another title holder like Witter.

 

Sorry I think you misunderstood what I meant by top. Hatton is the champion, yes, but there are other top/highly ranked/name fighters out there Witter could have been making his name off instead of just hoping for a fight with Hatton.
