What's the best HBO face off so far?

Pascal - Hops for me. Felt like real passion, real heat. I expected nothing going into that face off and it over-delivered.

Haye - Wlad had a taste of scripting to me. I hope I am wrong and Haye and Wlad aren't best buddies behind the scenes because it almost felt like it. Overall it didn't live up to the hype and was a let-down to me; likely to mirror the fight.

The worst face-off IMO was Floyd - Mosley. Floyd stuttering, Mosley begging for respect from his old comrade and Kellerman clueless as always. One big disappointment.

 

In the aired footage, Floyd seemed somewhat refined, (for his standards) and appeared to welcome to the verbal sparring as opposed to being put on the defensive, as he has in the past during such instances. He never gave the 'must-see-tv' sensationalism moment that HBO would have preferred, yet still offered entertainment value in his tamed state, for me at least.

 

pascal-hopkins. I feel wlad-haye wouldve been more interesting if wlad could use his native tongue. maybe the face-off wouldve been more fluid.

hopkins vs pascal was really cool, you was puffing and got beaten around like a ragdoll walking over to your corner, thats why im gangsta! hopkins is the man

I think Kellerman could have been much better here. He kept going back over the same old idea of this "hate" and "animosity".

Every minute I was begging "Ok Max, we get it.. they hate each other so much. Now get to some other topic. There are so many facets to this fight, there's so many things that make these two men unique other than their alleged deep hatred".

Nothing.

 

The main thing with Hops that he has real passion. This wasn't staged or acted. This man is a grandpops and still gets nuts and can't take a guy challenging him to a fight. That's what I love seeing as a boxing fan, genuine love for the sport.

That's what made that face off so good (to me).

 

Hopkins-Pascal and then Wlad-Klitschko . Defiently Pascal faceoff was best

 

Margarito had a face-off with Freddie Roach, not Manny Pacquiao. When he said "I saw your last two fights, he not only admitted he cherrypicks Pacman's fights, but he completely shut Margarito up.
