Is Haye's trash talking so bad, it's actually good?

Haye is forcing himself to say these things. It's not really in his nature. He's doing a good job of executing his plan.

Whether the plan and forced attitude is the right thing to do or not... time will tell.

 

Its a bit crude for fans outside of the UK - dickhead and hard on won't go down well with some.

He shut his mouth when Wlad told him too. Sometimes I think he is really confident and sometimes I think he is a bit nervous.

Wlad is ****ing angry.

 

Dickhead and raging hardon are cringworthy in the situation he used them. Trash talking needs to be a bit more advanced from the primitive playground saying "coz he's a dickhead"

 

Amazing how David Haye has changed over the years.

 

It really is. I used to love him and tell everyone that this guy is so exciting, will fight anyone, anywhere, anytime.

Then he went to heavyweight and he got paid. The Harrison fight was a farce and boring. He looked knackered vs Ruiz and that was a terrible mandatory against an old fighter who retired. The Valuev fight was intriguing but all the talk was just that, talk as it was boring as hell. All the while he is calling Wlad out.

I like how Wlad called him on the fact that he hasn't seen any documents proving he had a back injury. More likely is he pulled out due to Setanta going bust.

Whatever Haye says, it is not about his legacy or fighting the best, it is about the money. At least Floyd tells it like it is.

His trash talking is so bad it's almost good, in fact it's so bad it's gone past good and back to bad again.


Roll on the fight so we can get past this WWF shite.

 

If someone is scared, if someone is angry, if someone is emotional, then it all effects what their style will be. Both guys generally like to box. Will Haye really try a dog fight. Will Wlad be angry and go after him. Who knows. All these things are judged by personality and character.

 

It really would be interesting to see how different Haye himself, boxing on tv and the heavyweight division would be right now if Setanta were still going and managed to be a successful broadcaster.

A relatively small company could have had such a major impact on the entire world of boxing one way or the other.
