No disrespect, but we have to stop comparing these athletes so much. He is not the next Mayweather. He is the first Broner. Btw the kid is special. Let's just watch him do his thing. Because that's all he can do is be himself.

He's not on Floyds level by why the hate? The guy has skills is entertaining and wants to make a name for himself nothing wrong with that. If everyone was humble it would get old quick boxing needs personalities in the sport and Broner is a good one.

 

I hope we never have another Mayweather. When the best fighter in the world makes up rumors about his potentialy toughest opponent just so he doesn't have to fight him is something I never want to see in boxing again.

 

Acts like am ass out of the ring but has a lot of talent and skills. IMO he will become a world champion.

He's got some skill but he runs too much and isn't remotely as good as Floyd on defense, or on offense for that matter. Punk attitude too

 

He will be BRONER the Problem.

 

Like Ive said before he TRIES to fight like Floyd, but he lacks the speed, power, timing, ring generalship, precision, and defense Floyd had. Floyd was a beast @ 130. Not sold on Broner yet hes an imposter and B level for now. He does that to John or Rios Ill give him props, good victory over Litzau, but he looked very bad vs slower, weaker, smaller Ponce Deleon.

 

Ponce is a b grade boxer at best, the only thing keeping him on the elite level is POWER. And ... ... he kind of boxed even with or outboxed Broner.

Litzau and Caballero are terrible, fluke fighters who got to the top with NO SKILL. Absolutely awful, both guys. Litzau has won fights because of decent power, but to get outboxed by him is equally abysmal in terms of your actual talent level, and featherweight/130 has reached an all time low.

Broner is not entertaining to me. He would never beat a guy like Morales/Hamed/Kennedy McKinney/Junior Jones and is not on their level, let alone the 130 lb version of Floyd, good lord! I'm not hating on modern fighters, Gamboa has all the tools to be a future great, Broner has the tools to be a future spoiler like Zahir Raheem or at best cory spinks, win a few big fights with an awkard style then disappear.

As I said in another thread, If you are a fighter fighting at 130 NOW IS THE TIME TO TURN PRO WITH morales, barrera, marquez, pac, and all those guys out of the way. Avoid Gamboa and probably comebacking Lopez and you can be the next Litzau. He's that bad.​

 

i liked why i saw, give him time, he may get better with a couple of fights and gain experience, he's gonna be good

 

Broner is nothing like PBF.
