Really? Bryd has better wins than Haye at heavyweight and is more proven.

Byrd may be better than Haye, its hard to say until july 3rd. But even if Byrd is better i feel that Haye is better equipped to beat Wlad.
I dont think anyone would be talking about Chambers being quick if it didnt say "fast Eddie" on his trunks.
Povetkin was beating him to the punch time and time again.

Just wait until Wlad tastes that explosive power.

Have you seen the fight? He was light years faster until he ran out of gas.

Even in the first round he doesn't look quick.
If he was that fast, against an opponent like Povetkin, everytime Povetkin opened his guard to punch Chambers would seize the opportunity to land. That just wasnt happening.
Also, a lightyear is a measure of Distance not speed or time.

Byrd may be as fast with his hands as Haye but has shorter reach and much less punching power.

I'm with you on this man. Chambers has fast hands and imo they're a little faster than Haye's. Haye is a little quicker on his feet and more athletic BUT ...he doesn't take as good a punch as Eddie. Chris Byrd was waay more elusive and harder to hit than Haye. He was one of the most frustrating guys to fight in the heavyweight division. And Wladimir battered him! Speed wise Chris was as fast as Haye no doubt AND took a way better shot than Haye.

Those right hands that Byrd ate in his fights with Wladimir ...NO WAY IN HELL Haye will endure those. No ****ing way!

Chamber is not fast. His feet are like cement blocks. Even if his hand speed is okay, it does not matter because his feet can't get him in quick enough.
Haye is agile on his feet. So Haye is effectively faster than Chambers.

    Byrd was faster than Haye.

Anyhow, Haye has a different style than the two mentioned. It's not to relevant of a comparison. Sanders was slower and chinnier than Byrd too. But he had just enough size and quickness that he could outbox Wlad and land his power shots. Everyone brings different qualities they can exploit. Haye will need to use a combo of his agility and power to win. Can he do it? We'll soon find out.
