Canelo would beat Cotto

Would be a hell of a fight. I think Cotto would outbox him to a decision.

 

I really, really rate Cotto. I don't think he's as "shot" or "past it" as people make out and I reckon he'll UD Marga in their rematch.

But Cotto is tailor made for Canelo, I think he stands at a perfect range which would allow Canelo to hit him with combos all night.

 

i favor Cotto by UD as of now. but it could be a diff story 2-3 years from now.

 

They will feed him Mosley first, to an.atg to his resume

Let me know when gingerfreak fights someone with a pulse. Rhodes just stood there with his glove in his own ass. Cotto throws shots back, and has been in with the much stiffer opposition. I still favor Miguel

 

cotto loses to someone who struggled with Ryan Rhodes. Cotto use to annihilate these type of fighters. One thing never changes in esb, some people way to emotional. Cotto is not losing to Alvarez. This kid would get hit hard and often.

 

I would definitely watch this fight as neither one of these guys is hard to hit and both throw alot of punches, but i do believe Cotto is not the same fighter he was before he was cheated by Margarito and would probably fold under the pressure. entertaining night either way though.

 

I think he's ready for Cotto now, but no sense in rushing it. I'd rather see him fight fighters like Cintron, Martirosyan, Angulo first.

 

The only way he'll fight Cotto is when Cotto is way past it. He's still interested in fighting Cotto's leftovers (Mayorga) even though he's a champ and a "superstar"

 

Cotto would Calzaghe him now. In a couple of years though, yeah probably. The ginger Mexican is not the finished article just because he whopped a washed up European level fighter.
